Ava Simmons

Ava N. Simmons is a 13-year-old author, entrepreneur, STEM innovator, Neurodivergent ambassador, and CEO of Team Genius Squad, a company she founded at just 8 years old. Diagnosed with dyslexia and dysgraphia, Ava turned her learning differences into motivation to help other children discover their own strengths.
Through Team Genius Squad, Ava has helped bring hands-on STEM learning to children through educational toys, books, experiments, and community programs. She has sold and donated more than 250,000 STEM products globally, and her Telly Award-winning PBS KIDS Rootle educational STEM show videos have reached millions of viewers.
Her work and products have been featured by Scholastic, Whole Foods, The Drew Barrymore Show, and local museums. She uses her growing platform to encourage children to read, explore STEM, become entrepreneurs, and believe that the way they learn doesn’t limit what they can achieve.
